9 OBITUARIES Mr*. Rettie Bennett Price* Mrs. Ressie Bennett Price, widow of Chauncey S. Price, of is Pennsylvania Avenue, Mount Union, died at her home early this 'Saturday morning, June 6, 1953, at 5:15 o'clock. Death came after an extended illness. She was born June 18,-1887, at Mount Union, where her entire life was spent. She was a daughter of Harvey and Margaretta Bennett, and was united in marriage to Chauncey S. Price of Mount Union on June 20, 1920, by the Rev. Dr. J. W. Shannon, Lutheran minister. Her husband preceded her in death on May 10, 1950. Mrs. Price was a devout member member of the Lutheran Church of Mount Union and for thirty-fiv.e years served as the church organist. organist. She was also an active member member of the Senior Women's Twentieth Twentieth Century Club. Surviving are the following sisters sisters and brother: Mrs. John Robley Robley of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Mamie Mamie Foreman of Mount Union; Mrs. Nettie Showaiter of Hunt- A. Bennett of I Funeral services will be held on j Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock i at the home on Pennsylvania.! Avenue, with her pastor, the Rev. E. G. Brame officiating. Interment Interment will be made in the I. O. O. F. cemetery at Mount Union, directed by the Clark funeral service. Friends may call at the late'home after 6 o'clock Monday evening.
