in. been a He Des the the the a of the Herron Services In Coon Rapids Wilson Cleveland Herron, 85, Bayard died in the Thomas Haven in Coon Rapids Friday, February 20. The retired farmer had made his home in Bayard three months ago when he to the Haven. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the United Methodist Church in Coon Rapids with the Rev Alfred E Rau officiating. Mr and Mrs Sam Cretsinger sang, accompanied by Lula Games, organist. Burial in the Orange Township cemetery. Grandsons carried the casket. WILSON C HERRON Mr Herron was born December 12, 1890 in Orange township, Guthrie county and attended school near his home. He was of Thomas L and Ketura Heaton Herron. September 18, 19J2, he married Helen Lucile Kinnick and they farmed on the home place south Coon Rapids. Mrs Herron died March 13, 1956 and he moved Bayard in 1963. For five years Mr Herron worked for the Greene county Surviving are ten children, Emmert (Margaret) Nelson of Audubon, Wilbur and Mrs Gene (Genevieve) Hilgehberg of Bayard, Bayard, Donald, Duane and Mrs (Shirley) Sievers of Coon Rapids, Mrs Clayton (Pauline) Roller of Glidden, Wilson C, jr, of Carlisle, Mrs Robert (Naomi) Keppie of McGregor and Mrs Gene (Geneva) Crouch of Fort Dodge. Survivors also include 39 grandchildren, great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren, a brother, Guy Richard Herron of Guthrie Center and a sister, Mrs Dorothy Wagner of Stanwood. Preceding Mr Herron in death were his wife, four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother.
