THREE KILLED IN AUTOMOBILE CRASH A Soldier, His Father and His Uncle Die in an Accident. Moberly, Mo., Nov. 23—An Army Corporal returning to Fort Leonard Wood from a furlough with his family, family, his father and his uncle were fatally injured last night when the automobile in which they were riding riding collided with a truck on Highway Highway 63, nine miles south of there. The soldier's mother and sister were Injured, the latter critically. The dead were Corp. Leroy S. Boettger, 21 years old, of Correction Correction ville, la.; his father, Fred Boettger, 58, and the uncle, William Boettger, 61, who had been driving driving the car. The soldier and his uncle were killed instantly; the father died in a hospital here several hours later. The mother, Mrs. Fred Boettger, 57 suffered a fractured leg and crushed kneecap, and the sister, Miss Mabel Boettger, 23, is in, the hospital here with fractures of both legs and face and internal injuries. The mother said her son had spent his furlough with bis family at Ccrrectionville, and was being driven back by his uncle, his immediate family going along, when the accident accident occurred. She was unable to give any details of the accident. The driver of the truck, which belonged to the F. M. Stamper Co., produce dealers here, and which was loaded I with poultry, said the Boettger car, going south, had cut out of line of traffic to pass two trucks going in the same direction, as he was passing passing the trucks going north. Corp. Boettiger has three brothers i in the army, one in Ireland, another in New Guinea and the third stationed stationed in Oklahoma. The U.
