R. W. Etheridge Dies In Hospital; rUnerai Monday ' Raymond W. Etheridge of Perkins avenue died at 4:30 today at Good Samaritan Hospi-I^ tal at the age of 72 years five days During Funeral services will be held i at 1:00 p. m. Monday at the Pul-| ley Funeral Chapel with the Bird Green officiating. Burial jdU^ in Graceland cemetery at The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home where) friends may call after 1:00 p. m. Sunday. Mr. Etheridge was born May ffl, 1889, in Fairfield, the son of Harris uid Eliza (Dixon) Eth•ridge. Eth•ridge. On Sept. 4, 1957, he was mai-- »ied to Sadie Shields, who survives. survives. Other survivors include four •tep-sons, Paul and Harry Ossig «f Mt. Vernon, Roy Ossig of Los Angeles, Calif., and Pay ton Ossig Ossig of Detroit, Mich.; three step- daughters, Mrs. Blanche Dele- fcanty of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Nel- Be Higgins of Dan \ine, 111., and Mrs. Hazel Sesock of West Frankfort; three brothers. Joe JCtheridge of Albion, and Gilbert' and Archie Etheridge of Mt. Vernon; Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. May Fuller of Mt. Vernon, and Mx-s. Lydia Wcnne of Edwardsville. He was preceded in death by his. parents and a sister. Mr. Etheridge was a veteran •f World War I and a member of the D .A .V. I
