Josephine F. Snow Dies on Birthday PROVO—Mrs. Josephine Farre Snow, widow of James Erastus Snow, died on. her eighty-first birthday Wednesday at the family residence, 563 • East Third North street. She had been ill for a short time of pneumonia. Mrs. Snow was born December 26, 1853, in Provo, a daughter of Roswell C. and Rachael .Katherine Hoillster Ferre. She lived in Provo practically all her life and was married to Mr Snow on June 8, 1871, in the L. D. S. endowment house in Salt Lake City. An active L. D. S. church worker, *he was well known for her work in the temple and Relief society find genealogical departments. ,She was Rlso a member of camp No. 1, Dau«h- ters of Utah Pioneers. Surviving are \hree sons and two daughters, H. M. Snow, Hod Snow, Arthur Snow. Mrs. Josephine Thomas, Mrs. Jennie McDowell; in grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and four brothers, Roswell Ferre, John Ferre,, William Ferre and Darren Ferre nil of Provo. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1 p. m. in the Provo L. D. S. Fifth ward chapel. Burial wil'. be in the Provo City cemetery. Friends may call at the family home prior to the services.
