His parents,, who re side in' Huntington,1 were notified of the death of their son. , He was twenty-three twenty-three twenty-three years of age and occu pied a room over Alford's cigar store on Fifth street. -' -' ' v. "Young Funderburg had been in the employ ' of the ' Panhandle about two years and a half. Hewas a young man of excellent habits and character, andhad.a host of friends. For some time past he had been con templating his retirement from railroad railroad work and had almost completed arrangements with Elbert N. Tay lor,' of No. "428 Market street," to go to Marion to open a restaurant and boarding house for railroad. em-, em-, em-, ployes. . The two were to go to. Marion Marion some time next week to look over the : situation and secure a suitable place. Mr. Taylor speaks of him in the highest terms as a friend and a man." ; , The remains, accompanied by the young man's father, Da vidv Funder burg, and J. P.
