ENAL DOCKET HAS BEEN CLEARED The criminal docket of the fall term of District court which is in session session here, has been disposed of and the civil docket taken up. There was a small criminal docket but, comparatively, comparatively, there were a large number of important cases and six defendants were sentenced to serve terms in the Federal penitentiary at Atlanta. Andrew Jackson and O. D. Laugh-inghouse Laugh-inghouse Laugh-inghouse were both convicted on charges of distilling and were sentenced sentenced to one year and a day. Jesse Wiggins and Augustus Laughing-house Laughing-house Laughing-house pleaded guilty to having whiskey whiskey in their possession on which the government tax had not been paid I and they were given a year and a day in the penitentiary. Ed Spivy and Jerry Daniels pleaded guilty to a charge of retailing and were given the same sentence. In addition to these threre were several other defendants convicted on various charges and were fined and given jail sentences.
