Ohio, died at 3 a.m. April 21. in the Robinson Memorial Hospital, Ravenna. Ohio. He was a son of Richard Getty Spence and Marie Antoinette Huntr Spence was born December 20. 1894 in Fertile, Minnesota. After the death of his mother the r amily moved to Indiana County n 1902. He attended the P u b Schools of Indiana, Pa. He went work in the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Akron in and retired six years ago due to health. He enlisted in the Regular Army in 1916 and served three years. He was married to Nellie Broad- lurst of Akron, Ohio, who survives lim along with two children: Richard Chester and Mrs. John (Dorohy) June Stanley, both of Wind- lam, Ohio; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren; t h Brothers, Lawrence Spence, Pitts- ourgh, Pa.; Arthur Spence. Philadelphia; Lloyd Spence of St. Pe- ersburg, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Mrs. Eva Hunter, Indiana. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from Eckard' Sn y der Baldwin Funeral Home, Rev. Joel Jose P Anderson officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Memorial Park, Akron. Ohio. American Legion Post 209 will conduct graveside
