L ii ch's Death i Bares Marriage PITTSBURG, Feb, 37. uft Revelation of the romanc and marriage IS months ago of John Luch. popular University of Pittsburg Pittsburg football player, came today as arrangements were completed for his funeral. Mrs. Martha Ernes Luch, the widow, told of their courtship while both were students at Warwood, V. Va., high, school, ljuch was gaining his first recognition recognition as an athletic star then the future Mrs. Luch was one of his most ardent , boosters. "'e told our parents," she said, "but planned to keep our secret until Johnny had graduated next June.'" Mrs. Luch was at her husband's bedside almost constantly after his condition .became critical last Monday until his death tnday morning. The entire Pittsburg football team will attend funeral services in Wheeling at 9 a. m.. Wednes-. Wednes-. Wednes-. day. Dr. John B. Sutherland, coach, and James UVhitey Haggan, graduate manager, accompanied the body today to Wheeling.- Wheeling.- Lich died of peritonitis. Two blood transfusions Saturday failed to save Luch's life. Blood was given given by Miss Louise Hohman. of Turtle Creek. Pa., and John Val-enti, Val-enti, Val-enti, substitute center on the football football team. Luch was regular fullback in 1931 but after an attack of appendicitis appendicitis last fall, took part in only a few games. KKITH INTRAMURAL GAME
