impetus suffered cap- WOMEN NOT ELIGIBLE FORM OKLAHOMA CITY, Jan. 10.--Women 10.--Women may not serve on juries in Oklahoma it was held by Attorney General S. P. Freeling yesterday in opinion sent to D. M. Cavaness, county attorney of Grady county. The attention of Freeling had :alled to newspaper stories to the effect that women were to be called for jury service in Chickasha and prompted the sending of the opin- n. Freeling pointed out that sections 1 Sand 19 ot article 2 of the Oklahoma constitution provide that both grand and petit juries should i be composed of "twelve men." The law )rovidicg the qualifications for -jurors -jurors uses the terra, "male citizens."
