ELIZABETH YOUNG Mrs. Elizabeth Young, 71, died at noon Saturday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jack Curtiss, 900 W. Monroe St., of^ ^ nca _rt ail- ' Alil u i Mrs. Ethel Vincent of Chicago; ment and pneumonia. Although she had been in ill health her death came unexpectedly. She was born Feb. 9, 1881, in Tippecanoe County, daughter of William and Nancy Hollcraft. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Moriah Rebekah Lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary. Her husband, Austin A. Young, died Nov. 13,1946, and since that time she had made her home with her daughter. Surviving besides the are another daughter four sons, Arthur of Huntington, Harold of Rockville and Herbert and Ralph, both of Kokomo; one j brother, Guy Hollcraft of Stock- Iwell, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel JNoe of Lafayette and Mrs. Henrietta Nelson of Kokomo; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. The body is at the Ellers Funeral ±rT±^v fn ± sn ^r baun s noon Tuesday, when it will be ru moved to the First Baptist Church! to lie in state until 2 p.m., thej hour of service. The casket will be closed at the opening of the service. Dr. John M. Newsom will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemtery.
