250 ATTEND REUNION OF MURPHY FAMILY The annual reunion and outing of the Murphy families and friends was held Sunday, August 21, at Lorraine Park, near Johnstown. This was the twenty-fourth twenty-fourth twenty-fourth annual reunion of the family and was attended attended by about 250 persons. The program was opened by an address by the president, C. M. Murphy, Clearfield. Readings were given by Billy Bracken, Somerset, and Dorothy Nelson, Johnstown. The principal address was delivered delivered by Attorney Lee Smith, Union-town. Union-town. Union-town. Officers elected for, the coming year were: President, C. M. Murphy; Murphy; and secretary-treasurer, secretary-treasurer, secretary-treasurer, Foster G. Murphy. Baseball and tenis were played in the afternoon. Races .and games were played by the children and prizes awarded the winners. Among those present were members of the family from Michigan, New York, Ohio and Virginia. Plans were made to hold the twenty-fifth twenty-fifth twenty-fifth annual reunion at Lorraine Park the third Sunday o. August, 1933.
