Williams Cops Auto Feature Bill Williams, a comparative newcomer to midget racing in Utah, Thursday night showed the veterans a thing or to victory in two as he four races, climaxing the evening's performance with a close win over veteran Jud Werner In the 25-lap main event. Prior to that, he copped the first heat, tlie second semimain and the "13" main. Jud Werner took the trophy dash, Bill Brown copped the second heat, Gil Broadbeck won the third heat and Bob Ferguson took thc first semimain. A spectacular three-car spill during the "B" main sent Bob Watson to the hospital with minor injuries nnd put two cars out of commission. Watson's car and one driven by Noel Nelson spun out on the southeast turn and went over the rail.
