January 16 is the date set for the wedding of Miss Mayne Suit and Erie Fireman Claude Hough of Cora street. The couple are known In a large circle of acquaintances, who haver been surmising surmising as to the date some time. The wedding will not be an elaborate affair, affair, but plans are for a happy event Rev. J. W. Metzner of the Evangelical church will probably officiate. Miss Suit is the estimable daughter of Deputy Sheriff and Mrs. D. D. Suit of 958 Salamonle avenue. ' A number of years she has been employed at the Barker, Brown & Co. shoe factory and now holds the position as assistant forelady. She has been active in church and social life and in every way is a propossessing young lady. In railroad circles, there are few of the younger men more highly respected respected than Mr. Hough. He has been In locomotive service several years and is considered a very efficient man. He makes his home with his mother, Mrs. Clara Hough, and they moved recently recently from East Franklin street to their present residence on Cora street, which the young man is furnishing in prospect of the coming of his bride early the coming year.
