NKW YOBK, July 30.--The combination combination ot fur dealers throughout the to control Iho sealskin trade -which has jilst been announced may not seem important important to the people of the United now when heat costs nothing, but it be a matter of great concern to them during coming winters. The principal fur houses of this country have united themselves into a company, with a capital which, it is expected, will be $10,000,000--thouga papers have not yet been filed or prospectuses sent out. The combination is known as the C. Treadwell Company and is named the famous Albany fur dealers, who in possession oE a secret for dressing dyeing sealskins superior to English French methods. The Treadwells have heretofore refused to cure sealskinb for other {Inns, which have been obliged to seud their furs to London, to be put through the process. This has been a grenfc expense, but new company owns the secret, liaving curod it over the offers of an English syndicate The combination was effected in the office of Biker Biker, in Newark, und the Chemical National and Merchants' National banks, in this city, will bring out the stock here. Among tho directors are George er, John D. Parsons and Geoige H. Treadwell, Albany bankers, E. L. Ridgeway nnd \V. B. Tims, of this city, are interested in the company. The now concern will dress and dye skius- for home and arrange for mutual protection in years and seasons of smicll seal catches. It i said that there are 10,000 sealskins Xew York caught by poachers and by the Bering Sea arbitration.
