1906 Douglas County, Oregon Socialist Party Nominating Convention

On Saturday, March 3, 1906, the Socialist Party of Oregon — state affiliate of the Socialist Party of America — held a nominating convention in Roseburg and selected a slate for the June 1906 general election. The slate was headed by M. Lemmer of Dixonville and L.T. Thompson of Coles Valley, running for the county's two seats in the Oregon Legislature. R.H. Kirkpatrick was picked for County Commissioner. Candidates were also chosen for sheriff, county clerk, treasurer, judge, and coroner.
