WEST SIDE NEWS NOTES. FOUR FUNERALS WERE HELD DURING YESTERDAY.' That of Roger Haggerty Wai Very Largely Attended Many Friends Gather at the Late Home of Mrs. Mary Harris A More Substantial Parochial Residence for Rev. Father Whalan. There (was a crowded edifice at St Patrick's church yesterday morning when the funeral of the late Roger Haggerty of Scranton street, was conducted at 9:30 o'clock. Rev. Father McNaJly celebrated celebrated the solemn high mass of requiem and preached an impressive sermon. Rev. Father Duno acted as deacon and Rev. Father Fricker of St. John's German German Catholic church of this side was sub - tacon. The remains rested in a bear iful casket which was almost od - scurd from view by flowers. Among the emblems was a cross, anchor, wreath and several costly, bouquets. A large delegation from the Cath olic Mutual Benefit association No. 44, Oxford Mine Accidental Fund and a committee from Division No. 1, Ancient Order Hibernians attended.
