ADAM ILS OF IS Deceased Has Been An Invalid For Many Years, His Death Occurred at His Home and Was Due to a Complication of DiseasesFuneral DiseasesFuneral Saturday. Adam Welker, a well known and highly respected resident of Majenlca, died this morning at 5:15 o'clock from a complication of diseases. He had been an invalid for some time, the kidneys being affected. He was born in Henry county, April 24, 1834, making his age seventy - three years, seven months and eighteen days. He has been a resident of Huntington county for more than thirty years. He served in the war with credit to himself and county, being a member of the 101st Indiana. Seven years ago he laid his wife to rest. He is survived by two children, Vincent Welker and Mrs. Emma Poor - man, both of Majenlca who are left to mourn his death. Mr. Welker was a member of the Grand Army and of the Christian church. His funeral will be held Sat urday morning at 10 o'clock from the Christian church at Majenlca and if his services can be secured. Rev. Et - ter of Warren will be asked to officiate. officiate. Interment will be In the cemetery at Purviance chapel. MA CA DEAD
