- Widow Gets Bulk Of McCarty Estate Late Lawyer's Will Filed for Probate Is HONESDALE, Dec. 9. The will of the late Attorney Charles A. McCarty, Honesdale, who died at bis home, HO 2 West street, on Nov. 6, has been filed with T. Y. Boyd, register and recorder, for probate. The will was drawn April 13. 1926, In Hotel Pennsylvania New York. It follows: "To Theresa A. Gsrety. as recognition recognition of loyalty and services for many years, which was largely the succe of th accumulation of the property I now own. I give to her my dwelling house at No. 1702 West street, Hones - dale, together with all household furniture, furniture, carpets, rugs, pictures, ani frames, beds and bedding and all articles articles used in housekeeping, excep: such articles as may be devised to ethers or disposed of during my life. Should either the real estate or perj sonal property be disposed of during my lifetime, then she is to receive in lieu thereof a sum in cash or in othei securities equal to the amount so disposed disposed of. "Also I give to Margaret Mc Carty the sum of $10,000. nevertheless nevertheless to be held by her, in trust by her for the benefit of herself auu my half - sister, Mary McCarty, (since deceased) during the term oi their natural life or the life of the survivor of them and at tne death of the last survivor of them, the corpus of such fund goes to the Extension Extension of the Truth (The Catholii Church Extension society. United States of America, Chicago. 111.) to that society for the purpose of a - fUtlng in the erection of churches in the missionary portions of this country. "I further give to my sisters mentioned mentioned $2,000 each, to be taken from any personal estate I might have left after the payment of bequests already mae to them and to their heirs. "To Joseph and Loretta McCarthy. Ann Arbor. Mich, to Homer and Li - Roy McCarty, Pittsburgh, and John McCarty, Carborldale. children of my brothers, William McCarty, Carbon - dale, and James. William and Frank McCarty, Jermyn, children cf Johti McCarty, $1,000 each, to be paid from such personal property as may remain alter the payments of the bequest above named. To a cousin John j. Walsh, Detroit, $"1,000. "To Theresa A.
