Valley cers To Observe Practice Mission Staff officers of Group 22 of the Civil Air' Patrol will be in' the Valley tomorrow and Sunday to observe and assist the McAlIen Squadron in a practice search- rescue mission. . Members of the staff were to ' leave today. Members of the Mc- Alle:\ Squadron rccenty were here to participate in a similar mission staged by Group 22. The delegation from C o r p u s Christi will be headed by Lt. Col. William T. Bradford, group commanding officer. Other staff members who will attend are Maj. Worth Cline, executive officer; Maj. Jim Hicks, supply officer; Maj. Lawrence Cornell, maintenance officer; Maj. Dickie Burke, coordinator'of women's activities; Maj. Jack Humphries, public information officer, and Lt. Ted Lynns, adjutant. The practice search-rescue mis- Kion will be directed by the Air Force's 47th Air Rescue Squadron from Ellington Field in Houston. . Humphries sa'id the staff also plan to advertise a golf and exhibition which the CAP sponsor in Corpus Christi March 26. Golfer Babe Zaharias will be featured in the event, being for the benefit of Corpus Christ!
