SOUTH SIDE HAPPENINGS. ITEMS OF INTEREST TO PEOPLE ACROSS THE BROOK. - The Victims 'of Saturday's Accident at Pittsburg Interred in Minooka Catholic Cemetery Sunday School Picnic Accidents Yesterday Other News Chronicled. The German M. E. Sunday School of Prospect avenue conducted their annual picnic at Mountain Lake yesterday. The school has in recent yeara held picnics every summer at some popular resort within easy reach of the members and their friends without being compelled to take transit out of the citv.Thelmembers of the school having decided to picnic at Mountain Lake this year, a large number of friends were invited and the vicinity of tho lake all day was well peopled. The features of enjoyment were boating on the lake, competitive rowing and lawn tennis. Those present were well pleased with the day's outing and their pleasant visit to the lake. The only incident that marred the smoothness of the affair was the report current yesterday morning that William Hedrick and Herman Lowenstein, two boys who undertook to bring refreshments to the lake, Tuesday night, lost their way aud could not be found. The announcement at first caused considerable alarm, but when the boys made their appearance and explained explained their delay, their story occasioned much merriment. In takiug the goods to the lake a horse and wagon was se cured, and when the caravan had half completed its journey, the animal balked and would not move further. Dismayed at their fruitless efforts to make the stub born steed resume tho journey, the boys built a fire and oamped in the woods all night, and as morning approached their horse became more docile and eventually logged along with the load to the lake,
