Pitt won the team championship championship (and seven individual events), with WVU second wins), followed by West Liberty, Marshall, West Virginia State, and Waynesburg. Waynesburg. Penn Hills won the high school two-mile relay in 8:02.6, and 880-yd. relay in 1:36.74, sprint medley relay in 3:46.49; and was second in the mile relay, 3:37.09. Trinity won the mile relay in 3:35.11, and took seconds in the 880-relay (1:38.01) and sprint medley relay (3:05.77). West Greene was fifth in the 2-mile relay 9:45.24;, fourth in the 880 (1:47.36), fifth in the sprint medley (4:10.57), and fourth in the mile relay (3:56.78). Marty Uher, faculty member at California State College, retained his Master's Mile championship with a 4:57.97 winning trip.
