Fly-Up Ceremony Held For Girls of Brownie Troop Beta Sigma Phi Has Preferential Tea -- --· · ----- o ---- w Beta Sigma f hi Sorority gave · preferential tea Sunday afternoon, Mar. 16 honorinf four new pledges, pledges, Loretta, Kany. Audrey Morey, Morey, Hazel Bacon and Polly Land. The tea was held in the home of Doris Thompson. Stock* was used for the outer- piece on tte lace covered serving tables. The toifority ia making plan* for itt bake sale and Barter egff aide to be held April 4 at the Mimbres Mimbres Valley Farmers' Association. Proceeds are to be used to continue the redeeoration of the sorority*! room at the Deming Ladies Hospital. Hospital. The next regular meeting of the group will be held Mar. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Mission Cafe. Birthday Sapper Given Honoring Carol Sue Sherman Yellow and blue were used to decorate for the birthday supper celebrating the ninth birthday of Miss Carol Sve Sherman. The party party was given by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sherman in their home. Approximately 22 young ladies were on hand for the hot dog, salad salad and beautifully decorated birthday birthday cakes of which there were two. Fuzzy Easter rabbits were presented presented as favors and a treasure hunt was held. Carol Sue's birthday was Mar. 12. Girl Scouts of Demtaff ended Demiag Girl Scout Week Sunday with a fly-up ceremony and Ua at Methodist Church. The girl* were celebrating their birthday.
