HE 15 A voluntary petition In bankruptcy will be filed by Alfred Nelson, until recently u grocery man, engaged In business on upper l.udlngton street, In the United States District Court at Marquette today. In his petition Mr. Nelson will admit that he Is a bankrupt and will ask for the appointment of a receiver to take charge of the affairs of the concern. Attys. T. E Strom and H. J. Rushton appear In the case for Mr Nelson and will act for him In the bankruptcy proceedings The criminal charge against the former grocer in which it Is alleged that he is a fraudulent debtor, was ontinued in Judge Emil Glaser's ourt yesterday until Saturday. At hat time the criminal matter will be disposed of, It Is claimed by attorneys for the defendant, by arguments showing that he was guilty of no criminal action.
