; Eight More Young Men Enlisted in Armed Forces or Eight More young mien of the Tri-State Area have enlisted in the Regular Army and iAir Force, il was announced today by M-Sgt. A. W. Brumfield, Station Commander Commander of the local Anny and Air Force Recruiting Sation. They are Dewey Edward Yeary, Route 1, Garmeda, Ky., Earnest C'hailes, 150 Pine Street, 1'ineville, Jack Bruce Gibson, 812 Tenn Ave., IMiifville, Ray Marlow, Fonde, AVilliam Jeremiah Hansard, Route 4, Tazwell, Tenn., Herman Ham- Ictt, Jr., Route 2, Middlesboro, Carl John Jones, 326 (Avondale Ave., Middlesboro, and James William William Lee Fiancisco, 932-10 Street, Middlesboro, Jones and Francisco joined' the U. S AIR FORCE, and were trannfered to Lackland Air Force, San Antonio, Texas. The others were enlisted in the. Army and were trahsfered to Ft.'.Knox, Ky. M-Sgt. Brumfield stated that Veterans who were discharged in the first three grades, For example, example, M-Sgt T-Sgt. and S-Sgt. may still be enlisted in the Regular Army or the Air Force. Also Combat wounded veterans with depend- ens, may be enlisted. The local Recruiting Staion is open daily from 1 Monday Ihrough Fridays.
