Beit W. Smith of Prosper Passes Away in Hospital Ben W\ Smith, life-long resident resident of Prosper, passed away at 7 15 p.m. f ucsday in C ollin Memorial Hospital here after an extended illness. He was born August 12, ISM near Walnut Cirove, ( ollin ( ounty, and was a farmer He was a member of the Presbyterian ( hurch in Prosper, where he had served as an 1 Idei for 40 years. He was also a member of the school board at Prosper and was a ( ounty Trustee. Other survivors are three sons, Worley and Virgil Virgil Smith of McKinney; Harold Smith of Saudi, Arabia; daughter, daughter, Mrs. Loreta Hickey of Plano; three brothers, Jess Smith of Prosper; Wade Smith of Grapeland; Hugh Smith of Has kell, two sisters, Mrs. ( . H Jones and Mrs. O, ( . Lowe of Denton and four grandchildren. Arrangements are pending with Staley f uneral Home, f ns- co, but will be held at the Prosper Prosper Presbyterian Church, with burial at Walnut Grove. Ministers Ministers to officiate are Rev. John J. Hill of Davis, Okla.; Rev. Alvin O. Rue. McKinney and Rev. Frank Brooks. Plano. Pallbearers Ralph Boyer and Jack Lanier, Prosper; Dale Fooshee. Dallas; J.
