Seventh, Eighth In Speech Events Seventh and Eighth grade students students fram schools in the Rhine* lander -Union High School district gathered Friday afternoon at the Junior High School for the fifth annual area forensic meet, A total of 55 students competed in the five divisions of the contest —oration, interpretative reading, humoruos declamation, serious declamation declamation and extemporaneous speaking. All of the participants were a* warded either A or B ratings by the nine judges, members of the Rhinelander Union High School forensic group. The program was sponsored by •the Junior High School, under the direction of John Jarvis. A spelling contest was held in conjunction conjunction with the speech events. •The winner of that contest was Sandy Anderson of Crescent School.
