Charles J. Schemper PRAIRIE VIEW — Charles J. Schemper, 88, Prairie View, died Wednesday, Feb. 4,1998, at Norton County Hospital, Norton. Mr. Schemper was born Feb. 19, 1909, at Prairie View and was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a farmer-stockman, a member of the Luctor Christian Reformed Church and Kansas Wheat Growers Growers Association. Survivors include his wife, Cornelia Cornelia of Prairie View; a son, Calvin of Prairie View; two daughters, daughters, Charlene McCammon of Everett, Wash., and Cathalee Schemper of Manhattan; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday Saturday at the Luctor Christian Reformed Reformed Church, rural Phillips County, the Rev. Paul Copeland officiating. officiating. Burial will be in Luctor Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday Saturday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, 1115 Second, Phillipsburg 67661, and then until time of service service at the church Saturday.
