Greene Elects 2 New VPs Greene Manufacturing Co. has announced the election of Michael Michael W. Thielen and George C. Oteman to newly-created vice presidencies. Thielen, the company's chief Oteman Thielen tool engineer, becomes engineering engineering vice president. Oteman, the sales manager, becomes sales vice president. Thielen joined Greene in 1916, at the age of 16, as a toolmaker. He was toolroom foreman before being named chief tool engineer in 1954. James M. Hamilton, Greene president, said that in the new engineering vice presidency, Thielen's responsibilities will include include research and development in addition to his previous tool engineering and design duties. Oteman joined Greene in 1967 as a sales engineer. He was. named sales manager in 1968. The company makes decorative decorative metal trim for the automo five and appliance industries.
