Elected were: Mrs. John Vich, chairman; Mrs. Midge Tolbert, vice chairman, and Mrs. Evelyn Giacobbi, secretary-treasurer. Meetings were changed from the third Wednesday to the third Tuesday of each month. Donald Jones, Wood Thompson, William Crablett and Roy Mines of the Harrison County fair board attended the state meeting in Columbus. Mrs. Isabelle K. Chancy of the Harrison County board of elections attended the Ohio Assn. of Election Officials annual convention in Columbus. Mrs. Lee Cannon, past Ohio department secretary and department press correspondent, will be the installing officer when members of Mrs. George A. Custer Tent, Daughters of Union Veterans, meet Monday night at 8 in the home of Mrs. Myron Parlett. Plans will be formulated for the annual Lincoln banquet, sponsored by the group. The forestry tour at the E. A. Mizer farm has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 9 a.m.The event issponsored by the Harrison Soil and Water Conservation District. Harrison SWCD received a superior award as part of the distinctive service-Goodyear conservation awards program at the 32nd annual meeting of the Ohio federation in Columbus. Sixty-eight Ohio districts rated superior, 15 excellent and five good. E. H. West, supervisor for the district, accepted the award as Harrison District delegate. Others attending were Mrs. Mary Black, office secretary, and Earl C. Nelson, district conservationist. CALENDAR Tuesday Cadiz Women's Club, 7:30 p.m., in the public library.
