a to FLOYD J. ALDERSON Alderson New Fisher Trim Superintendent Floyd J. Alderson has been named superintendent of the trim department at th« Fisher Body plant here, replacing M. J. Schh-mer who was transferred to the St. Louis plant June 1 as shift superintendent. Named to succeed Alderson as general foreman in the trim department department is George E. Kuehne. Announcement of the promotions was made by W. C. D4vey; local plant manager. Alderson began at Fisher Body here in 1929 and was In the trim and cushion departments until August 1942 when the local plant facilities were converted to shell production for Oldsmobile Division during World War H. He worked for Oldsmobile as a shell inspector: Upon resumption of commer cial production in May 1946 he again worked for the local Fisher Fisher Body plant in various trim and cushion repair classiflca- tions. In 1949 he was promoted to foreman in the trim department department and subsequently acted as a supervisor of the various sections sections of the trim operation until his promotion to general foreman foreman of trim operations on the first shift in July 1964. A native of New Diggings Alderson graduated from high school there in 1928. He is married married to the former Ramona Stevenson Stevenson of New Diggings. The Aldersons have two children, a son, Jack, an electrical foreman in the maintenance department at the local Fisher Body plant, and a daughter, Mrs. Gary Polglaze. Alderson and his wife reside p .t 759 Logan St. Kuehne started as an assem bier in the trim department in 1946 and worked in trim assembly assembly and repair until his promotion promotion to supervisor of hardware- before -trim operaticHis in 1955. Since that time he has acted as a utility foreman in all the major major areas of the trim operation. Kuehne graduated from Janes- her governor than GEORGE E. KUEHNE ville High School in 1944. He is married to the former Hazel Thurber of Wisconsin Rapids. They live at 1326 Putnam Ave., with their five children, Gary, Gail, Michael, Patricia and Gregory.
