P. L. Chesemore Services for P. L. Chesemore, 69, who died at 2 p. m. Wednesday in Mercy hospital, Janesville, where he had been a patient since Monday, Monday, will be at 2 p. m. Friends may call at the funeral' funeral' home Friday night. A retired farmer, Mr. Chesemore was employed for 14 years by the Tracey Oil Co., before becoming associated associated with the W. A. Van Velzer Tobacco Co. last December. He was born Dec. 1, 1876, in Richland Center and came to Rock county in 1897, settling in the town of La Prairie. He married Mildred Procter Procter in 1901 and they made their home in La Prairie until moving to Janesville in 1924. Mrs. Chesemore Chesemore died in 1933. On Dec. 31, 1943, Mr. Chesemore married Ida Miller in Rockford, HI. Surviving are his wife, a son, Kenneth Chesemore, and three grandsons, Gerald, Pavid and James Chesemore, town of La Prairie; a step-daughter, Mrs. Bernice Bernice Buggs; >a step-son, Robert Miller, and a step-granddaughter, Karen Buggs, all of Janesville. of hi 3 •
