Woman walks away from plane crash An Amboy woman, Mrs. Betty M. Burris, 46, was in good condition today at Redlands (Community Hospital following the crash of her light plane east of the Redlands airport Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Burris was attempting an emergency landiing when her Cessna 182 SkyJane crashed in the rocky wash area at 2:15 p.m. She had been on her downwind downwind leg when she radioed that she had lost all power. She made her turn to come in for a landing at the airport but ended up short. The plane came down 153 feet east of Opal avenue and north of the Universal Bundle plant, Yucaipa Sheriff Deputy Wallace Anton said. After the plane landed it overturned. Mrs. Burris was able to get out of the plane by herself. She was then taken to Redlands Commun'*.v Hospital by Howard Ambulance service. The aircraft was removed yesterday and taken to Riverside Municipal Airport for repairs.
