Katy F. F. A. to Hold Annual Father - Son Banquet March 8 The Annual Father and Son Banquet of th'e Katy Chapter of Future Farmers of America will be held in the High School Cafeteria Saturday night, March 8. Those who will attend are the chapter members, honorary members, fat stock .show com- mitee members, and special guests. The dinner will be informal — chicken in the rough. Ten Future Homemakers, dressed in cowgirl regalia, will do the serving. After the dinner the group will assemble in the auditorium for an hour of entertainment featuring some of the top talent of Katy and Addicks communities. Mr. George. Yo4fng, an experienced radio pertqrmer, will be master of ceremonies. The entertainment will offer a variety of talent featuring a vocal duo, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Avera; Scottie's "Four Flat" Quartet composed of Melvin Scott, Benny Stanbury, W. C. Stock- dick, Jr., and Rev. LaMunyan; winner of Press Capade Talent show at Sam Houston College, Crooner Wilton Robinson; the songs of Cousin Bob Rogers; the tap dance artist, Miss Jean Miller; the acrobatic artist, Miss Elizabeth Sparks; and the dow- boy poet, Mr. E. H. Marks. The program in the auditorium will start at 8:30. The public is invited.
