Desmond J. Morrill Thursday Rites Planned for Salem Resident SALEM—Desmond J. Morrill, 59, died Monday in the LDS Hospital Hospital in Salt Lake City of natural causes. He was born April 10, 1900, at Junction, a son of John Alexander Alexander and Melvina Chesnut Morrill. Morrill. He spent his early years in that area. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was married to Anne Paltrier at Vernal Oct. 21, 1922. During most of Ms life he was a construction worker. In recent years he made his home in Salem. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Clayton A. Morrill of Corinne, Jack D. Morrill of Salt Lake City and Carl Dean Morrill of Cedar City; three daughters, Mrs. Jack Kooyman of Wood- bum, Ore.; Mrs. Virgil (Penny) Cutler of Corinne. and Mrs. Leo (Carol) TwitoheU of Salem; 16 grandchildren; his mother of Myton; Myton; two brothers, Alfred D. Morrill Morrill and Vernon R. Morrill of My- txm; two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Wanda) Moulton of Dutch John and Mrs. Claude (Verda) Rowe of Spanish Fork. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p. m. in the Salem Second LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Wilford Hunt officiating.. officiating.. Friends may caH at the Claudin-iLinde Mortuary in Spanish Spanish Fork Wednesday from 7 to 9 p. m. and at the family home in Salem Thursday from 10 a. m. until time of services. Burial will be in Salem City Cemetery.
