Zoar, or Fish Creek German Methodist in Rice Twp, Sandusky Co, OH, the original Magsig church.
This church is now a toolshed Rice Twp tool shed. Henriette Charotte Magdsick, sister of Friederich August Magsig married John Moldenhour, and attended this church in Rice Twp before moving to Lansing, MI. In a newspaper interview, Harmon Charles Magsig said the Magsigs first located in Rice Twp, near Muskellunge Creek. Zoar, and Woodville, were part of the Elmore of the German Methodist Church circuit. Florence Magsig Summers remembers visting this church and may have attended this day.
