Twenty members were preseut ana .the hours were .pleasantly passed piecing a quiit which will be sold b the society when completed. During a short business '-session, routine buv iness was transacted and light refreshments refreshments served. Miee Kathryn Porter was the ho- tess at a meeting of tne Old Honesty club Thursday evening at her home in Keene. Fourteen members en joyed the splendid program whici. was given during the evening hours and later a dainty luncheon wat served by the hostess- Miss Wann. Wallace of Wooster and Ray McCormick McCormick were guests of the club. * * ·» West Lafayette W- C. T. U- Met Thursday. Mrs- Isaac Miller presided at tht regular meeting of the Wfest Lafayette Lafayette W. C. T. U. Thursday afternoon in the Methodist church. Sixty members members were present and enjoyed tht program on ''Literature" Mrs. Mackey Mackey and Mrs- Jerry Shryock having the papers of the afternoon. One 01 the pleasant features was the closing number on the program, a solo by Mis- Powell. Mrs. Mackey's side won in a contest contest which has been one of the interesting interesting features in the union for the past six months. The losers will entertain the winning side at a date to be announced later. The next regular meeting will be the annual picnic. * * * Social Session of the M. P- Ladies 'Aid Society. The Methodist Protestant Metes" Aid society met Thursday afternoon at tlie home of Mrs. C- E. Cottom oil South Bigh'.h-st- No new business was brought before the society for discuasiott-^iXd--after disposing of routine business a social hour was enjoyed during which light refreshments refreshments were served by the hostess.
