Death Joseph Kirker
J. M. Kirker Dies Monday at Home Daughter, Route 5 Joseph Martin Kirker, a retired farmer, died at 4:30 p. m. from complications at the home of his daughter. Mrs. Russell Allen, Allen, Coshocton Route 5. He was 73. Mr. Kirker was born in Coshocton Coshocton county Feb. 28, 1866, a son Samuel and Martha Kirker. On Oct. 15, 1886, he -Â»ras united in marriage with Celia M. Slaughter, who survives. Mr. Kirker was member of the Coshocton First Baptist church for 15 years and later transferred his membership to the Pleasant Hill Baptist church. Besides the widow he leaves daughter, Mrs. Russell Allen; a son, Elwood Kirker of Coshocton: seven grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren and a brother, John Kirker. Coshocton Route 1, A daughter, Mandie,- and two sisters, preceded him in death, f Brief services will beheld at p m. Wednesday at the home Mrs. Russell Allen, Coshocton Route 5, followed by rites at at the Pleasant Hill Baptist church. The Rev. J. O. White the Coshocton First Baptist church will deliver the sermon, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
