ftoYfriricT y Members of Elks Lodge No. 1728 will officiate at funeral services at Eversole mortuary Friday at 2 p. m., for Roy Hurt, 39, well known Ukiah contractor, who died of a heart attack Monday niorning at his home in Talmage. Rev, Father Celestine Quinlan of St. Mary's Catholic church, will preside at graveside rites at Ukiah Catholic cemetery, where interment will be made. Former' owner of the .Laundra- mat on ivfain street, Mr. Hurt was born in Arkansas. He resided in this community 14 years. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Rita Hurt of Talmage, he leaves a son, , Otis Hurt, also of Talmage; three brothers, Otis of Uklah, Mancel of Riverside, and Charles of Locust Grove, Okla. He also is survived by six sisters: Biota Creekmore, Vallejo; i Lizzy Driscol, Mvrtle Bingham and Alta Ball, all of Tulsa, Okla.; Goldie Barber, Kansas City, Kan.; Ella Smith, Excelsior Spring, Mo., and Dolly Hurt, Oakland. Mr. Hurt's father is Ernest Hurt of Locust Grove, Oltla. , The Ukiah contractor finished construction of the Ukiah Grange hall the first of this year.
