a 1 S. to| Veteran Grocer Is Stricken Charles Muenchow, 75, Victim of Heart Attack in Store CHARLES MUENCHOW Charles Muenchow, 75, of 531 Milton Ave., a Janesvllle neighborhood neighborhood grocery store operator for 53 years, suffered a fatal heart at-| tack at*ll:30 a. m. Friday in his grocery at 533 Milton Ave. He was working on a refrigerator unit which had developed a short circuit circuit when he was seized with the attack. The fire department Inhalator Inhalator squad was called. Mr. Muenchow purchased the August Lutz grocery on S. Academy Academy street in April 1903. Two years later he bought the grocery located at 533 Milton Ave., next door to his home. Mr. Muenchow was aided in operation of the store by his wife and daughter: The son of August and Frederics Rehfeld Muenchow, he was born in Janesvllle Dec. 26, 1880.' He attended attended St. Paul's School. On Oct !), 1903, he married Augusta Manthei. Manthei. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Surviving are .his wife: one daughter. Miss, Hilda Muenchow, Janesvllle; three brothers; George] W., Otto and Henry Muenchow, all of Janesvllle: one sister, Airs Anna Hagar.
