career. W* E. Jackson dies; Robertshaw official in in share, Wilbur F. Jackson, vice president of Robertshaw Controls Company, died this week following an extended illness. He was 62. Funeral services were condicted at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in San Pedro. : · He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beverlee Jackson; a daughter, Mrs. Sharon Spoolstra of Los Angeles, and a brother, Harry, of Compton. Jackson resided in Rolling Hills and was general manager of Robertshaw's Special Projects Group in ' Anaheim., : Widely known throughout the g a s ' industry, Jackson was an inventor and held numerous patents for automatic controls. He was a member of the American Gas Associ-. ation, the Gas Appliance Manufacturer's Association, the Gas Appliance Engineers Society, the Pacific Coast Gas Association, the American Ord- nance Association and the American Management Assdciation. , He had served as a director of Robertshaw since 1964.
