irio, Al made Ball 2OO favorites «/ By MIKE GARRETT Mario Andretti and Al Unser have been established as co-favorites to win today's 20th running of the Bobby Ball 200 at Phoenix International Raceway. Andretti wrapped up the USAC title two weeks ago marking the first time in five years here the point championship wasn't at stake. He was winner at PIR in 1966-67. Unser is the track record holder' at 28.36 seconds. He also turned the fastest four consecutive laps ever run at Indianapolis last jnonthj all over 172 mph. The younger brother of racing's 1 dy-" namic duo has won four USAC championship events since Aug. 17. A field of 49 will be qualilying today at 11:30 for 26 starting spots in. the nationally televised event (ABC's Wide World of Sports). •Arizona •will''Be blacked out. Andretti and Al Unser have turned laps around 27.8 and a host of other top drivers have bettered the track record in tire testing.
