Cpl. Andy Graff, Native of Mela, Dies In England No Details Given of Death April 1; Was Studying With AMG Corporal Andrew ; (Andy) Graff, 39, -a -former resident of Jefferson Jefferson City, died in England April 1, his wife, Mrs. Marguerite Graff of Kansas- City, has been notified. No details were given •a's'to'iffe 'caruse-of;MET dearth"' *;" Cpl. Graff entered the Army two years ago and has been overseas overseas for over a year. He was in the invasion of France and other other battles. He was with the ordnance ordnance corps and was studying to serve with'..the Allied .Military Government in Germany. He was educated in the Catholic Catholic School of St. Cecelia's Parish Parish at'Meta,'where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Graff, reside. reside. He is also survived by two brothers. Lt. N. E.- Graff, serv- ing in China, and L. A. Graff of Kansas City, and four sisters, Mrs. Laurence Schrimpf, 727 St. Marys Blvd.; Mrs. Alfred Renn, 1108 E. Miller: Pvt. Florence Fifer, Fifer, WAC, of Brook Field, Texas, and Mrs. Victor Hopen of Kansas Kansas City. Cpl. Graff was employed at the Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. in Kansas City before entering the service. He visited here frequently frequently and was well known- in Jefferson City. ,
