Deaths Lester L. Clark Lester L. Clark, 67, 1105 Pershing, died Thursday evening at the Mesa Lutheran Hospital at Mesa, Ariz., after a brief illness. Born Sept. 26, 1912, at Welch, Okla., he married Maxine Bratcher July 23, 1933, at Plains. A prominent Finney and Gray County farmer, Mr. Clark moved to Gray County in 1944 from Protection. He later moved to Garden City. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Tyrian Lodge No. 246, Chapter and Commandry, Wichita Consistory, Midian Shrine, Garden City Shrine Club and the board of directors of Southwind Country Club. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Terry, Eminence Rt.; a daughter, Mrs. Marian Mason, 1604 N. 7th; two brothers, Olin, Ingalls and Jesse, Hutchinson; two sisters, Mrs. Thelma McMillan, Albany, Mo., and Mrs. Belva Bolen, Wichita; and four grandchildren. One sister preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements will be announced announced by the Phillips-White Funeral Home.
