BERNARD PEYTON LIES DEAD AT BYRON SPRINGS FATHER OF LATE HERMAN PEY TON AND ONCE HEAD OF THE PEYTON FIRM, PASSES FROM LIFE. t Colonel Bernard Peyton, a man who was highly respected and loved by his many friends in this city, died Friday morning at Byron Springs, where he, with his wife, had gone after the fire in San Francisco, where they have resided for a number of years past. Col. iPeyton Was OTlfi nf tha original Peytons of the local powder works. He was the father of Herman Peyton, wiho died in this city last year, and he leaves a widow, two sons and two daughters. These are William C. and Arthur Peyton, who are managers of the Peyton Chemical Works, Mrs. Julia Johns of San Mateo and Miss Eugenia Peyton of San Francisco.
