The Du Pont Trust AVithdraws From Suit in Circuit Court, but Another Action Will be Filed, Says Attorneys. The bitter feeling engendered in the equity suit brought by the E. I. Dupont-Nemours Powder Chemical Company to wind irp the Peyton Chemical Company is becoming more intense. The latest development of the lawsuit is an attempt on the part of the Dupont Company to have the officers of the defendant corporation arrested. This step has been taken under the section of the Penal Code which -makes ft a misdemeanor to refuse a stockholder, the. right to inspect the books of the conipanv in which he holds shares. Application has been Biade by the attorneys, of the trust as the Du Pont company is known for the issue of warrants, but so far none have been issued. It is not believed that United States District Attorney Wood worth will, in the circumstances, authorize the ap prehension of the officials of the Peyton rorapnny; bnt the mere fact th it the requwt has been made Is indicative of the bad blood between the parties. W. C. Peyton is a brother-in-law of Du Pont, president of the plaintiff comapny. The directors of the Peyton Chemical Company are W. C.
