Howard Dean Sturges Howard Dean Sturges, 52, of Ukiah, died Saturday, April 23,1994 at Ukiah Valley Medical Center of natural causes. The graveside service has been scheduled for 2 p.m. today at the Ukiah cemetery on Low Gap Road with pallbearers Steve Shusters, Billy Eriksen, Jack Sturges, Steve Eriksen, Doug Day, and Chuck Bleything. Mr. Sturges was born July 9,1941 in Portland, Ore. He lived in Ukiah for 40 years and worked at Shuster's Logging Company as a cat skinner for 17 years. Mr. Sturges is survived by wife, Minola Sturges also of Ukiah; sons Robert Craig Sturges and Michael Dean Sturges both of Ukiah; daughter Tammy Irene Blackwell of Ukiah; brothers Robert Sturges and Jack Sturges both of Ukiah; sisters Darlene King, LaDonna Grayson, Delores Wells, and Imogean Johnson all of Ukiah, and Anna M. Olds of Wheatland; Wheatland; grandchildren Amy Johnston, Dana Blackwell, Jermey Blackwell, Bradley Sturges, Nicole Sturges, and Ashley Sturges; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements are under the direction of Eversole Mortuary.
