DEFENDANT FILES ANSWER. Green & Green, representing Lurla Bros. Si Co., defendants filed an answer in a suit brought by, H. Sofranscy & Qj,, on a book account of $86.67, alleged to be due on the purchase of iron. Defendants Defendants deny that the claim presented is correct, but admit that before the suit was brought, a certified check for $44.17 was mailed to plaintiff, this being being the amount actually clue on thi transaction, but that this was returned. The difference, it is claimed, is due to freight and alleged shortages ' In the weight in iron shipped by plaintiff under under order of defendants to the Bethlehem Bethlehem Steel Co., and deducted by the latter latter when settlement was made with thu firm of Luria Bros. & Co.
