People Injured and Much Property Property Destroyed—Stock Per- : ish and Ruin Prevailes, MAYVIKLD, KY., Nov. 9.—A destructive destructive tornado swept through the northwestern portion of the county last night, doing immense damage to residences and farm houses. The residence of Benedict Piercoall, northwest of hore, was completely demolished. Pierceall was injured, though not fatally. Other residences were blown down and unroofed. No lives are reported lost. Tobacco raisers in the storm's path suffered greatly by having their barns unroofed. unroofed. Many buildings were blown from their foundations.
