YOUNG 'IJuly of the Yeitr' Mrs. Young Is lady Of Year' For Gardeners Mrs. T. A. Young was named "Lady of the Year" by the Bay-town Garden Club at its recent hat tea. She received the honor for haying the most points for activities. For example, she had perfect attendance and regularly brought specimens for the horticulture division and arrangements for the artistic division judging held at each garden club meeting. Mrs. Young has served as judge at several Baytown garden shows and is a frequent workshop instructor for some of 1 the newer garden clubs. She joined the Baytown Garden Club in 1953. ; She also expresses her artistic talents in the field of ce- ramies. : Her husband is employed at" Humble Oi! and Refining Co.'s< Bay town Refinery. They have. two daughters, Neva Jo Simpson who lives in Pasadena and' Jeanette McCabe who makes her home in Kemah.
